Millwright Foreman

Woofter Construction is seeking an experienced Millwright Foreman.  The Millwright Foreman will be responsible for ensuring proper operation of large industrial equipment such as power generators, turbines, assembly line machinery, and machinist tools.  Uses hand tools, hoists, jacks, squares, rules, micrometers, plumb bobs, and power tools to assemble, install, align, and adjust machines. Ensures machines perform to specifications by conducting tests; modifies and fine tunes machines. Disassembles or dismantles machines. Gathers and assembles parts for repairs or modifications based on blueprints. Troubleshoots and repairs machines including when unexpected issues arise. Performs preventive maintenance makes repairs on older machines.  Provides advice and recommendations to management concerning new machinery. Plans and facilitates installation of new or refurbished machinery, which may include building platforms and foundations. Conducts safety inspections of facilities.  Must be an experienced welder and not afraid of heights.
