01 Jul Short Line Rail Improvement Fund Call for Applications and webinar
This legislative session, Kansas Grain and Feed Association (KGFA) received input from its membership to improve infrastructure and business viability in rural communities. KGFA’s government affairs team successfully lobbied for passage of the short line rail improvement fund’s (SLRIF) inclusion into the Eisenhower Transportation Plan.
This program will provide grant opportunities for short line railroads and shippers located on or adjacent to short line railroads operating in Kansas.
